Post-doctorate - Medical and Health Professions Education. Harvard Macy Institute, Harvard Medical School/Harvard University;

I have been with 黑料视频 University and The American Women’s College since 2008. In addition to teaching at 黑料视频, I am the Dean of Nursing and Allied health for a Boston-area college. I have been working with students from undergraduate through medical school, and post-graduate education at several large Boston-area medical schools and universities for over 25 years. I am peer reviewer for Public Health Reports, the Journal of Cancer Education and several other professional journals. I am passionate about behavioral health, STEM and health professions education. I am deeply committed to women’s education and leadership.

In addition to working in higher education, I have had some interesting career experience, including working in the genetics lab for an esteemed evolutionary ecologist and conservation biologist on Costa Rican rain forest genetics and conservation, serving as an environmental lobbyist and environmental/health policy analyst, public health researcher, and medical school professor. I even worked for the Government of Puerto Rico!

I have always been adventurous, and I love to travel. So far, I have been lucky enough to travel to 5 continents. I hiked the Pontic Mountains in Asia Minor with a 9-month-old on my back and braved the jungles of Belize and hiked Mayan ruins in Mexico with a 4-year old in tow. Last spring, I hiked MacGillycuddy’s Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland, with my 14-year-old. In my spare time (What is that?!), I do pro-bono work for an urban health and community organization, and volunteer for ocean conservation and environmental projects.
