Dr. Chika Bosah is a distinguished behavioral health professional with a robust academic background and extensive experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals grappling with mental health disorders across diverse backgrounds. Holding a Ph.D. in Health Science and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Dr. Bosah possesses over 6 years of hands-on expertise in designing and implementing effective treatment plans, conducting clinical evaluations, and delivering individual and group therapy interventions.

With a keen focus on cultural competence and a comprehensive understanding of medications and clinical interventions, Dr. Bosah has consistently demonstrated proficiency in addressing complex mental health challenges, including crisis management and working with sex offenders. Her adeptness extends to data analytics, research methodologies, and risk assessments, reflecting a commitment to evidence-based practices in mental health care.

She has augmented her academic pursuits with continuous professional development, including an online course on The Opioid Crisis in America from Harvard University.

Dr. Bosah has actively contributed to the field of mental health through research endeavors. Notably, her research on institutionalized bullying in tertiary institutions in Nigeria and its perceived mental health impacts, conducted at the University of Abuja, underscores her dedication to advancing knowledge and understanding in the field.

Her commitment to excellence is further evidenced by her role as an Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) Clinician at Child and Family Services, where she crafts evidence-based treatment plans and fosters a recovery-oriented approach in client interactions.

Dr. Bosah's professional experience also includes her role as a Clinical Therapist at the Massachusetts Treatment Center, where she provides therapeutic services to sex offenders in a correctional facility. This role highlights her expertise in managing crises and working with high-risk populations, including individuals with severe mental health disorders.

With her tenure as an Assistant Program Director at BAMSI, Dr. Bosah has demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills, overseeing program operations, providing clinical supervision, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
