You want the best for your student. So do we. See what ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ offers:
Safety
According to the , report by Niche.com, ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ is the safest college in America. ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ public safety officers patrol campus daily, respond to emergencies, and are connected to the local police and fire departments. ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ residence halls and classroom buildings are secured around the clock with electronic ID access. ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ students receive safety alerts and emergency information immediately through the One ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ app.
Value
We work hard to keep costs down and offer value for money. ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ's 'sticker price' tuition and board for the 2024-2025 academic year total $51,554 for resident students. But when you deduct scholarships, grants, and other financial aid, most students pay around $12,000 a year—making a private college education as affordable as going to a state university. And ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ has eliminated extra fees—your student won't pay extra for laundry, the fitness center, or textbooks.
For your and your student's investment, the rewards are huge:
- The strength of our academic programs. We work to educate and inspire future learners and leaders and prepare our students to find employment and gain professional qualifications.
- Our Faculty truly cares about your well-being and your success. With a 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio, you'll form close relationships with your professors, leading to research and networking opportunities. In fact, 80% of our classes enroll fewer than 20 students.
- Our career-focused degrees and paid internships will set you up for future success. 100% of students complete a relevant internship.
- Wrap-around student support services and a dedicated Student Success Center, with Advising and Career Guidance advice before the first semester
- Health and wellness resources on campus
- Accelerated degree options, the ability to take graduate school courses as an undergraduate for undergraduate tuition, and the possibility of progressing seamlessly to related graduate degrees at our Graduate School all offer huge cost and time savings.
Benefits of a women's only college
ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ is a proud historically women's only college. Studies show that graduates of women’s colleges were more likely than any other women graduates to develop skills employers seek, be involved, and feel prepared for life after college, whether in the workforce or continuing with professional or graduate school education. Students at women's colleges benefit from safe campus environments and the opportunity to develop leadership and creative problem-solving in a supportive community. ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ's WELL Program (We Empower Leaders and Learners) is unique. Its focus is to help students identify their purpose and passions and realize their potential as future leaders.
Admissions Requirements and how to apply
We are Test Optional for all programs other than the direct-entry Physician Assistant program and the Honors programs, which means that ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ does not require an ACT or SAT score or application essays, but students are welcome to submit them if they wish. Students with a 2.0 GPA just need to apply - either through the or through the - and send us their transcript. We are a community that values diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from any qualified student who was born female or who identifies as a woman.
Application process
Once we receive the application and transcript, we will make a decision within two weeks and communicate it to the student. Accepted students are invited to an Accepted Student Day in the spring and to an Orientation Day in the summer. In order to secure their spot, accepted students need to pay an enrollment deposit ($200 for commuters and $300 for residents) and complete an Intent to Enroll Form.
Financial Aid and Free Tuition Plan
Students who need financial aid MUST complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Dependent students must invite their parents to contribute to their form, which requires parents to provide information about their income.
The University will receive the student's information directly from the Department of Education. It will use this information to determine if the student is eligible for scholarships, grants, federal student loans, and federal work-study to help finance their ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ University education.
Once you complete the FAFSA, ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ will be able to help determine the greatest financial aid your student is eligible for. First-year, first-time, traditional students who qualify for a (government) Pell Grant and have a GPA over 3.0 will receive free tuition to ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ University.
Don't forget to encourage your student to research and apply for local and national outside scholarships! ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ University also offers a full tuition Signature Scholarship each year. This is a competition that requires students to respond to an essay prompt, usually by the end of December, and attend a day of activities on campus in February.
The ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ University school code, 002122, needs to be included on the FAFSA. ºÚÁÏÊÓƵ's Student Financial Services is here to help you and your student throughout the process. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Student Financial Services can be reached at 413.565.1256 or sfs@baypath.edu.
