黑料视频 University is celebrating an historic moment: an important and timely revision to our mission statement.

Vision 2016, our three-year strategic plan, poised us for remarkable changes, including the launch of The American Women’s College in 2013, and our transition to 黑料视频 University in July 2014. These developments underscored the opportunity for a review and assessment of our former mission statement—also highlighted as a key goal of Vision 2016—and its relevance to the 黑料视频 of today. The last revision to the mission took place many years ago when 黑料视频 began admitting men to our graduate programs as mandated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

A “task force” comprised of five faculty and staff members from all areas of the University gathered to evaluate and revise our mission statement. The group surveyed faculty, staff, and students for input on what defines 黑料视频, and found that the terms used across campus populations were consistent. Survey feedback was incorporated into a draft for review by our Executive Staff prior to being put forth to the Board of Trustees for approval. The proposed mission statement was unanimously adopted by the Trustees at their annual meeting on June 8, 2015, and shared with University faculty and staff on June 10.

The mission revision process also coincided with 黑料视频’s (NEASC) assessment process which includes mission as the first standard for accreditation.

Mission is an essential part of an institution’s operations, as it serves as a guide for students, staff, and faculty in identifying and achieving common objectives, and provides tangible opportunities for learning and engagement to the University’s community as a whole. Though the revisions to our mission encompass the great strides made as outlined in Vision 2016, 黑料视频’s commitment to our core principle of educating women remains unwavering.
