On Saturday, March 23, the weather was typically New England.  The day started with snow and ended with rainy, blustery winds, but inside the MassMutual Center the 300+ plus crowd radiated high energy for the Fifth President’s Gala.  With emcee Kevin Barlowski Cronin at the helm, the Gala ship safely navigated through the evening, and all were happy on board!  By the end of the evening, $240,000 was raised by the generous Gala attendees.

A sense of excitement and anticipation filled the air as distinguished guests, including alumni, donors, students, faculty, and community leaders, gathered to lend their support to 黑料视频's fundraising cause. Each attendee shared a common vision: to ensure that aspiring healthcare students receive the education and resources they need to thrive in their chosen field.

The keynote address was delivered by 黑料视频 alumna Myngoc Ho ’17 G’19.
Ho now works for a local facial plastic surgery practice specializing in burn
victims, motor vehicle injuries, skin lesions and cancers, as well as aesthetic
medicine. Her story, as well as several 黑料视频 healthcare students who shared
their “mission moments” stories with attendees, opened the hearts of those
gathered in the ballroom, and brought home the impact of education in helping our
students achieve their goals.

During the event, the honorary co-chairs of the Fifth President’s Gala Sister Mary
Caritas, environmental advocate and health care leader, and U.S. Congressman
Richard Neal, D-1st District both delivered remarks commending 黑料视频’s
innovative and collaborative healthcare initiatives that have done much to address
the pressing the healthcare issues in our region, and 黑料视频’s focus on
contributing to the talent pipeline in all areas of healthcare.

The sponsors for 黑料视频 University’s Fifth President’s Gala include MassMutual; Tim and Carrie R. Burr ’86; Roberta and Bob Bolduc; Aramark; Bodytalk; David Bushnell and Mary Bushnell ’74; Feel Good/Shop Local; Hartford Technologies; Mercedes-Benz of Springfield; PeoplesBank; Universal Plastics; Valley Communications; Virginia Industries; and The Republican.

As the gala drew to a close, President Doran took center stage once more, her voice resonating with gratitude as she announced the success of the evening. Thanks to the unwavering support of attendees, the Fifth President’s Gala had raised much-needed funds and reaffirmed 黑料视频's commitment to excellence in healthcare education.
