on Memory Loss and Dementia

Longmeadow, MA— For the fourth year in a row, Strategic Alliances at 黑料视频 University and the Alzheimer’s Association of Western Massachusetts have teamed up to bring you up-to-date information regarding new findings in Alzheimer’s research.
The 2019 AlzTalks series features local researchers who will discuss brain changes associated with memory loss and different types of dementia, early detection, risk factors and lifestyle interventions, and clinical trials.
The presentation will be led by Dr. Alison J. McManus, the Clinical Research Nurse Manager of the Alzheimer’s Clinical & Translational Research Unit (ACTRU) at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her work broadly involves the management of translational and clinical trial activities at the ACTRU and the supervision of sponsor and investigator-initiated trials, as well as the clinical care of patients enrolled in clinical research projects.
This event, scheduled for September 11, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., is free and open to the public and is recommended for interested families and caregivers, students, teachers, nurses, medical assistants, occupational therapists, and those in psychology and social work. It will be held at 黑料视频 University, in Mills Theatre in Carr Hall, 588 Longmeadow Street, Longmeadow, MA.
