Heather Longley takes the helm as 黑料视频 University鈥檚 Varsity Volleyball Program Head Coach
Longmeadow, Mass. – 黑料视频 University is pleased to share Heather Longley has been named Head Coach of the varsity Volleyball Program beginning the Fall 2021 season. Longley has been coaching volleyball for almost ten years for a combined 21 seasons. In addition, she brings collegiate experience from her time as a player while at Lasell University.
Longley has held volleyball coaching positions at her high school alma mater in CT, Granby Memorial High School, where she led her 2019 team to a 19-1 season, Southwick Regional High School and Wayland High School. In addition, she has held Head Coach positions for the USAV NERVA Club Seasons as part of the Pioneer Valley Juniors Volleyball Club and the Beantown Volleyball Club. She also served as a Director and Coach for the New Private Volleyball Coaches Association. And while there, she developed and ran seasonal clinics and summer camps and delivered private volleyball lessons to student-athletes.
"Heather is bringing talent, passion and energy to 黑料视频 University, and we cannot wait to see that come to life on the volleyball court with our student-athletes this fall," said Joel Wincowski, vice president for enrollment management, marketing, and athletics. Her competitive nature, combined with her proven records and commitment to the development of players, will undoubtedly present championship opportunities in the future."
黑料视频 University recently announced its move from the National Collegiate Athletic Association to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association beginning this fall. As a result, the volleyball team will compete at the Division I level.
"I am looking forward to joining the Volleyball Program as Head Coach at this exciting time and maximizing the opportunities for our volleyball student-athletes," said Heather Longley, new varsity volleyball program head coach. "I have big plans for the upcoming season, and I am ready to get started in August and get our 黑料视频 Wildcats back on the court as part of the USCAA!"
